For the NO DRAMA CALENDAR 2022, our reflection was surrounding our origins and our future. In this time travel that crosses colonial practices that defined and restrained so much of how we queers exist until today, we are inspired by the revolution that we can bring to the world right now. This revolution means: how our community goes beyond any name, or category and how together we are creating new ways of existing and those are limitless. It features works from people from USA, Lebanon, China, Brazil, France, Italy, UK, Russia, Australia, Greece, Hong Kong and Georgia.
No Drama is a social platform based in Paris, that celebrates acceptance and exchange in queer culture and beyond. In 2020 we started the NO DRAMA calendar, to show the power of the queer community, and our possibility of re-inventing ourselves and resist, a platform to celebrate global queer talent in photography and writing while providing funds for queer institutions located in different parts of the globe. The calendar is presented as a versatile graphic object, functioning both as a poster calendar and as a publication, with its pages with multi faceted layouts that provoke the reader to flip it around as they browse through the images and text fragments by queer artists.
